Energofish puts gels and sprays on show
Shows are back, and making the most of that fact in Hungary has been Energofish, which introduced its latest additions to its Concourse family of attractants at the FeHoVa show in Budapest: gels for when patience is needed on the bank, and sprays for when speed is essential.
Hungarian carp fishing specialist Energofish launched new additions to its award-winning Benzar Mix line-up at FeHoVa show in Budapest.
Reflecting the popularity of method feeder fishing which is gripping anglers across central Europe, many of the new products are suited for that style of angling.
The new developments are centered around the Concourse family and include the ‘tasty, colourful and attractive’ new gel and spray flavours in 50ml bottles.
Product Manager Sándor Sujkó told Angling International: “The gel is a heavy and syrupy liquid which lingers on the bottom of the water. It is worth using when patience is needed in luring carp to your hook.
“Some of the Concourse gels – like the Tutti-Frutti flavour – also have a visual appeal which is sometimes the key to success.”
Sujkó added that in contrast to gels, sprays are thinner and dissolve quicker in the water. “This makes them perfect for match anglers because in a competitive situation speed is of the essence and attracting fish to your swim as soon as possible is very important.”
New hookbaits on show for the first time included the Pro Con Wafter – a big hit in 2021 – which is now available in 6mm and 10mm versions.
"The Mini and Midi are ideal for anglers who prefer smaller hookbaits and finer methods,” Sujkó added.
